If you wanted to cripple the entire internet, how would you do it?

lets assume you have a group of the best crackers in the world.


Each with its own supercomputer to use and a 15 Ebps connection (exabit for second, :P)





Personally I would try to bring down all the DNS servers.If you wanted to cripple the entire internet, how would you do it?
It's impossible to bring down the Internet. There's more individual servers than you go through MB of data in a day.





Servers have hot spares that can be swapped out. As soon as your intrusion is detected, you become a target. The security types defending servers will steal your IP addresses and put together some serious crime defense.





In short, just bring down the shopping sites and do us all a favor.If you wanted to cripple the entire internet, how would you do it?

I do it every night, and the Internet goes away. I can't see it on my computer screen, I don't get ANY email, and people say they can't chat with me - until I turn my computer back on in the morning!!!
I would have my team of super-monkeys plant massive EMPs in carefully plotted locations around the world and just take out all electronics in general. That's just me.
