I try to plug my computer into the modem with an ethernet cable but it always says limited connectivity. Anyone know how I can get connected?How do I connect my Laptop to my my girlfriends internet connection?
usually a modem can provide internet for only one computer, and if its a cable modem some times it is configured for a specific computer. or else it may be configured only for a usb connection. what i recooment is u can go for a router which will distribute the internet getting from modem to more than one computer wired and wireless. so that both can use urcomputers without any interrruption.
