How do I use Internet explorer on a mac to open secure sites?

The antique IE 5.2.3 for mac doesn't seem to do the job. Nor does the wine power IE 7. ANy one with ideas on that?How do I use Internet explorer on a mac to open secure sites?
There's no need to use Internet Explorer on a Mac. Chrome or Firefox are your best choices at the moment on a Mac.

If you absolutely need to run IE, the easiest approach is likely to use Virtualbox (virtual machine software you can install Windows into).How do I use Internet explorer on a mac to open secure sites?
What kind of Mac are you using? Generally you will need proprietary emulation software for this sort of task (Bootcamp?)

What I would recommend is simply using Firefox with an extension that disguises your browser as Internet Explorer within the header packets sent to the web site.

The simplest extension for the task is called ';User Agent Switcher';

Download and install Firefox ( http://www.mozilla.com/products/download.html )

Visit this page ( https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/59 ), allow addons to be installed from it VIA the bar across the top and then install the addon. Go to Tools -%26gt; User Agent Switcher once it's installed and select which version of Internet Explorer you want.
