That depends on what internet is available. If you know where they are offered and do not mind going to those places to get onto the internet, you can frequent free wifi hotspots and use them.





Many coffee houses (starbucks) fast food restaurants, libraries, etc offer free wi-fi access.

wifi device is usually a device that contain a router or switch ( the last two is to connect several computers to a network ).. and the wifi part is to allow you to connect your computer to that network wirelessly (with out a wire ) but your computer should have a wifi card in to be able to do that ..


YES you will still need to pay for internet IF you want internet in your network ..


the wifi is only a tool to make network ( also the internet if included in the network ) in the air , so you can access the internet from any room or your garden ( in broadcast range ) ..

Wifi is just a connection method.


Instead of using ethernet (wired connection) it connects without a wire..





One of the advantages is that it can share internet connection, cause its pretty fast, (unlike bluetooth or other similar wireless connections). It also has better range.

That means Internet is you have to pay cause its a service..


Of course you could go to a place that have wifi (and give free internet access) and connect (like some wifi spots), but there others pay for the internet service... And it wont have range anywhere.
