How do I restore my Windows Internet Explorer 8 to work again?

Before my internet used to run using the windows internet 8 application, but something happened and now, it doesn't work anymore. Is there anyway i can restore it?How do I restore my Windows Internet Explorer 8 to work again?

You need to go to Start -%26gt; Control Panel





You need to uninstall Internet Explorer 8 (I know it sounds weird)..





After you uninstall and reboot, you need to go to www.windowsupdate.com, or download it directly from: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/interne鈥?/a>





Basically for some reason IE8 can go defunct, and needs wiped out and reinstalled, and it usually works great again...

Internet Explorer is extremely slow and unsafe compared to many other free browsers out there. I recommend Google Chrome because it is really fast, but Firefox is great because of all the features (ad blockers, etc).
I wouldn't. Unless you absolutely need Internet Explorer, you should probably use something else. Anything else. Use another computer to download Google Chrome ( google.com/chrome ) or Mozilla Firefox ( firefox.com ) or any other browser to a flash drive, and install it on your computer. Web developers everywhere thank you (once IE loses enough marketshare that they no longer have to code especially for it).
My internet explorer quit working. I went to control panel %26lt;%26gt; internet options %26lt;%26gt; advanced, and reset settings back to default settings. Then my internet explorer worked fine. That worked for me. I can't say it will work for you.
