How do I get my internet to start working again?

I tried restarting the modem like 5 times but it still won't work. I don't think it is the service because the people at customer service said it should be working. please help me out, this is urgent!How do I get my internet to start working again?
1st) Unplug the modem from the power for 30 seconds then plug it back in. All the appropriate lights should light up. (this is called power cycling)





2nd) Right click on ';My Computer'; or ';Computer';, scroll down and left click on ';Manage';. On the left you'll see the words ';Device Manager';. Left click on Device Manager. Look in the list of devices for anything with the word ';NETWORK'; in the title. Look to see if there's a yellow exclamation mark next to the device name or a red X over the device.


...If there is a yellow exclamation mark following the device name you'll need to update the Drivers for the device or Uninstall then Reinstall the Driver(s). You'll need your systems Drivers Disk to perform this task. Ask your computer manufacturer how to do this if your computer is still under warranty.


...If there's a red X over the network devices name then simply right click on the devices name and choose to ';re-enable'; the device.





3) If everything is OK there then try the following websites.
